Turn on Pro on a machine
Pro
Pro adds running your agents from Thrum’s web UI, such as typing into an agent’s terminal. Free and Pro lists everything it adds. You don’t need this page for Free.
Pro turns on one machine at a time. Use your my.thrum.team account, the one you started your trial with. No account yet? Create one at my.thrum.team and confirm your email address; that starts your trial. Pricing has the price, the free trial and the machine limit.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Thrum must be installed, and your repository set up with thrum init; the quickstart shows how. Run the steps below in your own terminal, in that repository.
Turn it on
Section titled “Turn it on”-
Run:
Terminal window thrum license activate -
It prints a link. Open it in a browser and click Activate. That step is yours; an agent cannot do it for you.
-
Back in the terminal, Thrum confirms it. For a trial it looks like this:
License activated ✓Tier: trialMachine: <machine ID>Pro trial active on this machine until <date>.
To check later, run thrum license status. If it prints license: not activated, Pro is not on for this machine.
If your account has no trial and no Pro, the machine stays on Free. A machine gets one trial. If this machine already had one, with any account, it stays on Free. Buying opens soon. We’ll email you once when it does.
Each individual plan includes 2 machines. To use a third, remove one at my.thrum.team/account first.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Watch your agents in the web UI: now you can type into an agent’s terminal there.
- Fix common errors: if an action still says it needs a Pro licence.
